Hello Chapter 7
Every single moment was set up for me to create SheeApparel and I had no clue. What wasn't a surprise is that I knew the women I was responsible for needed me. I knew there needed to be a space where learning how to love yourself beyond showing up for others had to be possible. A space where even if you felt misunderstood you were still chosen. SheeApparel was hand selected by GOD at a time when my whole life was falling apart. I carried a lot of sadness and had no where to run too.
Who I was had been stripped down because he was birthing something new. At one point I thought my divorce was my new identity. What I learned is my divorce wasn’t my story it was my resiliency. Your story is not define by what happened to you but by more of how you got back up. We are here to hold space for the voiceless, for the women who no longer want to play small. As we step into chapter 7 we want to share 6 resiliant things we have learned along the journey.
1. Your Gifts Will Make Room For You.
If you don't take nothing else from this journal entery listen when I say "YOUR GIFTS WILL MAKE ROOM FOR YOU'' Sometimes we are one decision away from everything we prayed for because were scared. Because we told our dream to the wrong person and now we are second guessing if this is going to work out. The oppertunties we had the oppertunities to experience money can't buy. I have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and be apart of so many people lives. We will never take it for granted. 2. Show Up
Even if you feel like the market is full we still need you. I can be in a room full of people who may be selling apparel and still thrive. What I learned is the people that I am responsible for they will see themselve in our brand. Even if you feel like you don't have a clue on what you doing. Still do it anyway i promise you there are people in place waiting to help you along your journey.
3.All You Need is One Yes
All you need is one yes, one connection , one sale. Sometimes we can get caught up in thinking what were doing is not making impact. The whole time someone is thanking you for showing up. Every other popup some one is sharing their testimony and tears on how they were not going to show up event, or even in transition. There has been many times they were blessing to me when I may have felt lost of my path and GOD way of telling me girl stop playing with me.
4. Add Value To Every Room You Walk Into.
We started this brand with ONE t-shirt but our message was powerful. Pray, Self Invest, Repeat. Baby we was running this message left and right. The purpose behind the message was everything started with GOD first and then ourselves. I had to learn that I could not pour into anyone else without pouring into myself firdt. I live by allowing them to experence my over flow. What I also learned is that every sigle person I came in contact with their life will never be the same. Don't discount who you are and what you bring to the table.
5. Step Outside Your Comfort Zone
You won't know if you don't try. Everything won't be the same. Each year We take inventory of what we are exceling at, what we can do better and where we neeed to take it up a notch. Stepping outside of comfort zone is where the real purpose resides. 2025 is where you are really going to see us take it up more than we can ever imagined.
